KavaRoutes · NEMT software

Smart route planning for NEMT.

Compare road-route options with a clear goal, useful estimates, and a final choice made by your dispatcher.

Choose what matters for this trip.

The quickest-looking route is not always the choice you want to send to a driver. KavaRoutes gives dispatchers route goals for individual pickup-to-drop-off trip legs, with a preview of the roads, distance, estimated travel time, and directions.

Review the map. Save your choice. Keep control.

Preview. Review. Save.

  1. Select a trip leg. Start with the pickup and drop-off for the run you are planning. Check the driver and vehicle assignment separately.
  2. Compare route goals. Review the map, time estimate, distance, and maneuvers. Different goals can produce the same roads; the preview makes that clear.
  3. Save your choice. The assigned driver can load directions for the selected goal from their itinerary. Saving a road-route choice does not assign a driver or vehicle.

A clear scope. A useful decision.

Route optimization can mean choosing roads, sequencing stops, or assigning trips across a fleet. The road-route comparison described here works one trip leg at a time. It helps you evaluate options; it does not promise an automatically optimized fleet schedule.

Travel times are estimates, not guaranteed arrival times. Confirm pickup access and vehicle restrictions before driving. Directions opened in Google Maps may be recalculated there.

A few practical questions.

Do I stay in control?

Yes. You choose the goal, inspect the suggested road route, and save the option you want to use. Review your run’s assignment separately.

Does it automatically group passengers or assign the fleet?

The road-route comparison on this page does not automatically group riders or assign trips across vehicles. Do not treat a saved road-route choice as a new driver assignment.

Can I rely on the estimated arrival time?

Use travel estimates to inform planning, then allow for boarding, traffic variation, and the needs of the trip. They are not a guarantee of a pickup or appointment arrival time.
